Jonathan Cowper has always had a passion for photography. His parents were professional photographers and had given him his first camera when he was 7 years old. Having learnt the art from them, he has been able to work on his craft and bring it to the digital age. He finds the natural beauty in life and photographs it. With that said he is a strong believer in the camera taking the photo and not always needing a computer to manipulate his work.
Right out of high school Jonathan decided to pursue another passion, videography. He studied Film and Television Production at the Toronto Film School. He later helped to co-produce, as part of Silver Arts Studios in which he partnered in and was the cameraman for multiple documentaries, music videos, and short films under the Silver Arts Studio banner. After the film industry slowed down in Canada, Jonathan decided to go back into Photography and rework his craft.
Jonathan is up to doing many different types of photography, where wedding and portrait is his main concentration. He has been part of many different weddings some in Canada but also abroad. He has always taken the steps needed to get that creative difference that people are looking for and takes it on as a challenge.
