Absence & Vacation
Child Absence
If your child will not be attending the centre on a regularly scheduled day, please let me know no later than 8 am the day of.
If a child who is scheduled to arrive at the centre does not arrive within 30 minutes of their normal time and I have not been notified of the child’s impending absence, I will consider that child absent and regular fees will still apply.
Provider Absence
In the event that I become ill, I will notify all parents scheduled to drop off their child(ren) no later than one hour before the centre opens. Regular fees will not be charged for provider absences because this is a RARE occurrence!
Vacation
I allot myself a minimum of two weeks of vacation a year. The dates of my vacation will be posted on the website, as well as a notice sent via e-mail to all clients no later than two weeks in advance.
I have also allotted two weeks (10 days) vacation for each family. I require at least one week’s notice of child absence due to vacation. Regular fees will not be charged for your vacation days. However, if I do not receive at least one week notice, all fees will still apply.
