Starlite Children’s Centre is committed to protecting personal information, by following responsible information handling practices.
I collect only personal information that is required to ensure your child(ren) receive the best program and services I can offer.
Sharing of Information
- I may also collect personal information in order to satisfy legal, government and regulatory obligations.
- I do not sell personal information that I collect.
- I will not disclose your personal information with anyone else without your prior knowledge and consent, except when required by a government body or agency, or as permitted by law.
Confidentiality
- Starlite Children’s Centre maintains physical, electronic and administrative safeguards that are appropriate to the type of personal information we obtain from you.
- Starlite Children’s Centre will only allow the owner/operator to have access to any personal information that is collected.
- Volunteers from the community schools will not be allowed to gain access.
- Any volunteers from the community will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement before entering the centre for volunteer hours.
Changes in Information
- If you are aware of any inaccuracy or changes in the information I have on you and your child please be sure to contact me with the correct information so that your files may be updated in a timely matter.
